50′ Standard 70T Boxcars

50’ standard boxcars move bulk commodities and can carry more dense commodities than the 60’ version. They come with single sliding 10’ doors on each side and are equipped with steel floors.

50’ 70T standard boxcars have a Plate C clearance and a total GRL of 220,000lbs, allowing for up to 70 tons of loading. This car has the ability to move a variety of bulk commodities and can be configured with various interior loading devices such as belt-rails or moveable bulkheads to secure loads.
